Michi No Eki Takano

A roadside station located in Takano-cho, Shobara City, the northernmost town in Hiroshima Prefecture. Takano apples are a specialty, and sweets made with Takano apples, such as cider and apple pie, are popular. You can also tour the ``Yukimuro,'' a natural refrigerator located in one of the heaviest snowfall areas in Western Japan.
